That’s Rio de Janeiro, with the Ipanema and Copacabana beachs on the south and south-east coasts, and Sugar Loaf Mountain to the East. If I only had the money and time..!
I got lucky on this one - it was my first place to look. The photo is a view of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil - noteworthy item in photo: South Atlantic Ocean!
OK, more specifically, the large boot-shaped lake is Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. And just to the east of that is the horse racing track, Hipodromo de Gavea.
OK, got it. This is Rio De Janeiro. First, in the south we see the two famous beaches, each (kind of) memorialized by a song. On the left is Ipanema Beach, of “Girl From Ipanema” (Getz/Gilberto/Jobim) fame. On the right is Copacabana Beach: the Barry Manilow song is about a club in New York presumably named after the beach. Second, in the Northeast corner is the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain.

This is the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro!
I can name some noteworthy (and beautiful places) here: Pão da Açucar (Sugar Loaf, the cone in the tip of the peninsula, NE in the picture), the Corcovado (Christ the Redeemer, a peak in the hills, at the center of the picture), the Freitas lagoon (that kidney-shaped hole, south of Corcovado), the beaches of Copacabana (the longest, east), Ipanema e Leblon (west).
Most noteworthy, lovely memories of Rio… I only wish violence cease soon there.
Obrigado!

Ahh. Rio!
Well, South Zone of Rio. Showing Ipanema and Copacabana beaches. But probably the two most visually famous things here are the Sugar Loaf (on the top right peninsular) and the Statue of Christo Redentor at Corcorvado, directly north of the lagoon.

This is an easy one: Rio de Janeiro, with the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches and the Gavea Hippodrome.

Come on, even _I_ know this one
O Cristo Redentor is probably the most noteworthy thing…
