How to Play
To participate, just make your guess in the comments section for each photo. Guesses will be held until the end of the contest, when they will all be made public. Anything and everything is fair game for getting a correct answer. Each contest will last one week, starting on Friday, so submit your guess as soon as you have an idea.
This is Hong Kong International Airport. It is located on a island called Chek Lap Kok (famous for reclaimed land). This one was very easy, since I am an Google Earth Airport buff.

This is the new Hong Kong International Airport, known as Chek Lap Kok. It replaced the old Kai Tak airport in Hong Kong itself.
I recognised it from the terminal building designed by Sir Norman Foster’s company. I just had to make a quick check to ensure I wasn’t confusing it with the Kansai airport near Osaka.

Chek Lap Kok Island/Hong Kong International Airport. It looked like a large airport, so I assumed it would be a larger commercial international one. I also figured that since it was built on an island, that it would be found in a place with limited space. Honk Kong fits these criteria and was my second guess.

This picture found in Google images searching for “airport artificial island”
looked familiar looking at the shape of the island.
Then Hong Kong International airport was easy to find in Google earth.
