    I had a feeling it might be somewhere in Chile (Compare #121), but I couldn’t remember which city(ies) were particularly affected by the quake other than Santiago.

    But then, when I started looking at some of the riverbeds running across Chile from the Andes to the Pacific, they sure were looking similar to the ones in the picture – check out the appearance of the rivers running past Curicó, San Fernando, and Rancagua, to mention a few. Encouraged by that, it didn’t take much longer to notice Concepción.
