How to Play
To participate, just make your guess in the comments section for each photo. Guesses will be held until the end of the contest, when they will all be made public. Anything and everything is fair game for getting a correct answer. Each contest will last one week, starting on Friday. Each Wednesday at 0:00 hrs GMT a hint will be published. If you submit a correct answer before the hint is out, you'll earn an extra point, so submit your guess as soon as you have an idea.

Fun tidbit: The first time I heard about this place was a mention in Douglas Adams “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” in Chaper 3, relating to the approach of the Vogon Constructor Fleet…
“The planet beneath them was almost perfectly oblivious of their presence… The huge yellow somethings went unnoticed… Jodrell Bank looked straight through them — which was a pity because it was exactly the sort of thing they’d been looking for all these years.”
Ironic that here’s another ‘bank’ where the ‘people in charge’ were not doing their job, with disastrous consequences…
