The Monticello Dam was constructed between 1953 and 1957. It is famous for its spillway, which is the largest in the world and a.k.a. ‘The Glory Hole‘.

It is capable of handle up to 1.3 millions liter water per second (that is 362,000 US gallons).

Last week this location was in the news, when it was acquired by Porsche Engineering.

It is the Nardò proving ground in southeastern Italy, formerly owned by Prototypo Test Ing
The large test circle is for high speed testing and capable of speeds up to 492 km/h.

As he is an enthusiastic racing driver, het decided to build his own racetrack on his estate.

It was constructed in 2010 but caused some legal concern that lasted into 2011.
